The goal of the PALS Instructor-led renewal course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. The PALS course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.

Classroom-based training is entirely Instructor-led. Students complete the entire course in video-based classroom sessions with an Instructor, which cover course content, skills practice, and testing.

• Hands-on instruction with an American Heart Association Instructor allows students to practice skills and ask questions throughout the course.
• Ideal for students with limited access to technology.
• Students keep their provider manual for ongoing future reference.
